Great Smokey Mountains. At an early age he taught himself to play the guitar and the harmonica
By the age of 13 he was playing and singing with a Bluegrass group named the Smokey Mountain Bluegrass
Boys. They were featured guests on a local television show called the Cas Walker Farm and Home Show.
Being brought up in church and having a love for gospel music, he also travelled and sang in
several local gospel groups including the Crusaders and the New Gospel Sounds.

and together helped establish the original Alabama Crossmen Quartet. They, along with the rest

and sharing God's love through music and testimony. The group disbanded in 2007 and David began
singing with The Boys of Alabama in 2009 until 2020. Now the Lord has seen fit to bring the
Alabama Crossmen back together for His service. David and his wife Yvonne are looking forward to this
this new opportunity the Lord has set in motion for the Alabama Crossmen. It is their hope
that the Lord will lead us to use our talents to be a blessing to many souls for many years to come. |
